Jupiter Conjunct Pluto Through the Houses
This configuration is all about how you define personal success. Jupiter is where we expand, where we go to develop ourselves along the lines of faith, spirituality, philosophy and other facets of the high mind. Jupiter aligns us with our personal brand of luck and opportunity, and the mindsets that make it possible. Jupiter shows talents that manifest with ease. Pluto is the principle of power, of urge, of obsession. It is the energy of digging in, unraveling, of going to the edge, looking over it, and laughing. After all is said and done, the Plutonian plunge acquaints us with personal power. Not in the brute and obvious way, not like Mars. This is a silent and soulful power.

When Jupiter and Pluto conjoin, we get breadth and depth. Sometimes in devastating ways. Like the spread of COVID-19 and the Spanish Flu (Pluto representing virus and germs—microscopic death. Jupiter representing spread, travel, and proportion). But in our charts, Jupiter conjunct Pluto can tell a personal story as well. Pluto has been grinding away in Capricorn and the house that contains Capricorn for a long while. Its changes are subtle and far reaching. But the introduction of Jupiter, known as a trans-personal planet, may have made aware to you some of underlying motivations you have for achievement. The drive for power is strong. Jupiter may have made you aware of the power you lack, want, have, etc.— and those realizations can shape your actions and tinker your compass moving forward. It all goes back to that definition of personal success. For some, it is money, power, and fame—an obsession with worldly status that is apropos for Capricorn. Any way to get a leg up, even if it breaks others’ legs. For others, productive avenues of power—like wanting for due recognition, respect, and betterment—can take hold. Power becoming empowered. A success that maybe only you see or know. Perhaps a combination of all the above.
Jupiter came to conjunct Pluto two times this year already and will make a third conjunction tomorrow. April 5th, June 30th, November 12th. These days coincide with a beginning, middle, and end to the Jupiter-Pluto narrative. Of course, not in any tidy way. But those three dates are helpful ballparks for events that show the fingerprint of Jupiter and Pluto’s energy for you. Below are brief descriptors/themes regarding the transformation and opportunities that may have befallen you or will.
Aside from knowing which house these conjunctions are in for you, it is also helpful to keep in mind which houses Jupiter rules for you to further contextualize internal or external events. Jupiter rules Sagittarius and Pisces.
1st house: These conjunctions brought to the forefront your very identity in the world, how your personality, affect, and interactions could use more punch, power, and flair. Scaffoldings that forced you to play small have crumbled, and it may not have felt great. You have experienced loss, death, and hardship in literal and figurative ways. You have been reborn to yourself this year, in ways that empower you to play big and take up space. To rise to the occasion of life. Your physical body, with all its pains and warts, perceived or real, have forced you to realize you are more than flesh and bone. You are the energy that animates it.
2nd house: These conjunctions had you reckon with your value systems. In the most literal way, income, material resources, the balancing of assets versus liabilities became throughways for financial power and freedom. When your security is ensured, life opens up, opportunities can be capitalized off of, and monetized. Your material life can empower you to take on life in a safe way. The imbalance of such things, the mismanagement of them, causes disempowerment. Scarcity mindset. The ravenous need to keep up with the Joneses. So, too, have intangible forms of value crept to the surface this year. Where you give too much, take too much. Where you are depleted or substantiated. You have been drained and devalued in devastating ways, with the lesson being intentional procurement of the things that truly fill you up. And the pruning of things that do not.
3rd house: These conjunctions worked hard on your mindsets, your communication, your comings and goings in the community, and the actors you share that stage with. Opportunities to share your ideas and take full advantage of your mental abilities seemed to be been co-present news, information, and perceptions that were disturbing and uncomfortable. It is only in fully cultivating every corner of your mind, even the dark and dusted places, the scary places, that you come into profound understanding of yourself and your voice. Saying the things that need to be said, adhering to ruthless honesty, and exploring complexities will galvanize life in a direction that speaks your truth to power.
4th house: These conjunctions felt like the Earth was reorganizing itself beneath your feet. The places where you root yourself—in homes, in traditions, in family—were subject to quakes and quivers. This is the midnight house, the most private, the seat of our soul. You have been reset. Psychological and soul stirrings seemed to have accompanied the changing of the guards in your life. You moved and were moved. Familial tapestries perhaps felt outgrown or were grown upon. Places and people of comfort became uncomfortable. In sorting through the structures that broke down, and also the ones left upstanding in the wreckage, you can piece together the foundations worthy of your continued growth. And can trust they can hold the weight.
5th house: These conjunctions played on your creative contributions, and how they serve your character. We create in all types of ways: through art, through children, through romance, through play. Anywhere where we create evidence of our life. Though, do these pleasures consume you or emancipate you? There have been opportunities to exercise your imagination and the personal power it gives you. In your quest to project creative confidence and authority in your offerings, resistance from others or from an outgrown need to shrink have compelled you forward. Keep in mind the difference between power and empower—is what you do uplifting or is your motive to exert importance? Your capabilities are profound and evergreen when you let them flow and let them go.
6th house: These conjunctions have retooled your service, routines and health. The need for a job well done, to perform duty and responsibility in ways that compel recognition may have eaten you up, exhausted you. To be a background player in the results you help to create may have moved you into spaces where your ethic, problem-solving and service are valued and rewarded, or into mindsets that produce movement in that direction. Offers and opportunities for upward mobility (relatively) have presented themselves, yet so has the excruciating desire to find work that…works for you. The systems you have in place that feed your body have been magnified and tested—for better or worse. A sound body, an enriching lifestyle, and a set of habits that uplift the upward movement are sources of meaning. And in turn, it creates a meaningful life.
7th house: These conjunctions have brought a surplus of movement and opportunities in your one on one relationships. Yet, the people we let in close have the power to significantly alter us, move us into pain, move us into rapture, and move us into objective understanding of ourselves, our roles. This is hard and visceral work. You desire to be on good terms with all your counterparts, romantic, platonic and professional. But you can keep bumping up against what feels like shadow work, power plays, and a reverberating examination of true motive. After all is said and done, these foils to your main character show you more about yourself, move you into alignment with the dynamic and complex offerings of others, and ultimately, harness compromise and understanding as a life tool. This peace is your power. As is the ability to stand alone where company disappoints and dissolves.
8th house: These conjunctions have turned your mind inward with a close examination of your human condition, and the human condition in general. There is a profound gift in being able to face your fears, traumas and pain, in forcing sunlight into your broken places. Flaws build character build a richly lived life. Wabi Sabi. Your dealings with others have felt karmic and moving on a soul level, most of the lessons touching a sensitive nerve you never knew was exposed. You have been given opportunities to share of yourself, to reckon with how you are indebted, to look at how you manage assets and forces that are behemoth. Resources have flowed. This energy has introduced to you your own strength and weaknesses. To be softened, to surrender, to give up, to cry out for help—these are all fast tracks to a spiritual understanding life. Your power is in the expansion of consciousness.
9th house: These conjunctions have erected plot twists into your hero’s journey. Your faith in life is outsized yet seems to constantly bump up against forces that challenge it and seek to demolish it. And perhaps demolition has occurred, forcing you to rebuild with freshened perspective, with more grit and experience. Your appetite for adventure, for experience, for education, for sampling all that life has to offer has increased. Your higher mind is the gateway for true power. In confronting the big Why’s of life, you have been met by doubt, loss, and setbacks—but so, too, have those things clarified your answer. A high concept, a quest for information that is inherently subjective and spiritual moves you into a more holistic interpretation of the story unfolding for you. You’re writing the interpretation as the narrative unfolds.
10th house: These conjunctions for you have perhaps been the most deeply felt and transformative. Power playing out in a status-defining house. Your prominence and star turn on the world stage has been met with applause, with increased visibility, and with a hunger to get more, do more, and be more. Confidence is a natural byproduct of this transit, but ambition is a double-edged sword. Increased responsibility is a signpost of success, but mismanagement of that power can be devastating. Even the small ways you have sought to exert influence or be in control could be damaging to the humanity you carry. You don’t always have to be achieving, setting goals, or winning to be important. More so than any other house, how you determine your personal success weighs heavily. Will it ring hollow but win trophies? Or can it allow for meaning, rest, and reflection as well?
11th house: These conjunctions have expanded upon your desire to stand out from the groups you belong to and use them to further a goal. Because of that, your social networks may have dwindled dramatically, or else your perception of the players that actually matter has sharpened. The people you place around you during this time have real potential to move you forward, and to do that, you may have faced the loss of longstanding friendships and other social fixtures that no longer serve. Your specific drive to move, shape, and change humanity using your gifts has come into focus, as have the unique, perplex and saddening societal structures to battle along the way. You empower yourself through the people you choose to share this dream with. They must be mission critical.
12th house: These conjunctions have sensitized you, made you tender, made you receptive to your disowned needs, and the needs of others around you. The compassion and empathy this house offers are usually through a fraternity of pain and suffering. You feel kinship with those who have felt in similarly hard ways, or else have grown into a personal fraternity of self by allowing your pain to have a seat at the table. The way you relate with and understand others is profound though probably informed by your own losses. Events that force your self-sabotaging and victimized ways to the surface have been plentiful, yet a spiritual understanding and compassion for these drives often lurked and offered transcendence. Your power is in forgetting yourself and in separating from a bruised ego by diving into subconscious and soupy states. Letting the Universe move you instead of having to control everything yourself. The information may feel vague but holds value. Alone time, literally or not, sets the stage for rebirth, like how a cold and barren winter always foretells of a brighter spring.
Reframing Gemini: The Sign That Yearns Most for Love
Gemini has earned a contentious reputation in modern Astrology as the sign of backstabbers and face dancers. At best, they are social butterflies, the jack of all trades but master of none. At worst, they are fake, two-faced, and devious. In more evolutionary and studied terms, they are wordsmiths, purveyors of information and communicators, flitting back and forth between ideas and beliefs, never quite settling on a firm ideology. Gemini as mutable air in a society that prefers black and whites, this or thats, yes or nos—is threatening. The perceived duplicitousness of this sign is not done in malice, but rather in aversion to absolutes. But beyond notions of gray matter and gab, beyond tricksters and hipsters, the heart of Gemini has more or less eluded people. As mutable air would, the more soulful and loving core of Gemini has become a ghost, imperceptible, but always lurking if you’d dare coax it. So, allow me to briefly resurrect.
(I started looking at the archetypes of the signs and reframing how we have come to view them as strictly this or strictly that. I've come to find a lot of wiggle room and nuance in them. This time, I talk about Gemini, the archetype of orphan and why they are the ultimate lovers of the zodiac. Check out my reframing of Capricorn and Aquarius!)

The myth of Gemini involves Castor and Pollux, Greek demigods and twin sons of Zeus (or Jupiter!). They were so inseparable, so close that when one of them died, the other asked to be immortalized in the sky right next to him. As such, they came to represent the duality between life and death, between Hades and Mt. Olympus. This introduces us to the archetype of the divine twin, opposites that come to represent the whole. Gemini as bridge between spectrums, a connector. In an evolutionary theory of the zodiac, where Aries is the burst of life, and Taurus is life crystallized, Gemini enters as curiosity, a spark of awareness. Gemini is the soul seeking to understand itself through thought. And it is in this stage that Gemini is introduced to the other, that there are other sparks of awareness sparking with awareness. We can see this in the fact that Gemini is the first sign to have humans as representation, two humans, where Aries and Taurus are both personified animals. This is where the existence of relationship is born—with Gemini.
Contextualizing Gemini within the inception of human relationship is integral in reframing this sign, modernly seen as flippant and unable to commit, a collector of human interactions versus a wholehearted participant in them. In fact, the soul of the Gemini yearns deeply to connect, because without the other, Gemini simply doesn’t exist. It is here that the twin nature of Gemini need not only represent the solo swims between polarities, but also, or rather*,* the search for the other. It is through a mirror that we come into full understanding of self. The Gemini is searching for someone to relate to (etymology of relationship contains ‘relate’), and thus this spark is the birth of primordial love—because with Gemini, there is no life without another, without understanding and relating to another. Could it be that the apparent socialness and chattiness of this sign is this search for other in action? Gemini is indeed guided by a restlessness for interaction that can be informed by this deep need for relationship, whether they are conscious of that or not. Could it also be that the boredom associated with this sign is merely the absence of true connection, of true soul stimulation?
Back to the myth, Castor and Pollux demonstrated profound brotherly love and sacrifice to be with one another. As demigods of friendship, whenever their stars were bright in the sky, ancient Romans knew they had cosmic favor on their side. Gemini orients to the world through this same fraternity and compassion. In the traditional Rider-Waite tarot deck, Gemini is illustrated as the lovers. Though steeped in controversial religion and dogma that I will not indulge, this card can be seen as two individuals, perhaps Adam and Eve, God’s first human creations, reaching out to each other over the backdrop of Taurus splendor, perhaps the Garden of Eden. Adam was lonely, and thus Eve was created for him. So inherent to the Gemini is this resounding need for company.
That brings us to the archetype of the orphan child. Gemini is often described alongside the character of Peter Pan. Gemini is swift, childlike, silly, full of “lovely wonderful thoughts,” and never wants to grow up. But there is a dark origin story here. In some renderings of the tale, Pan left an orphanage to embark on a series of adventures, later locating his parents only to find that they’d replaced him with another child. He becomes leader of The Lost Boys, a group of misfits all abandoned by their parents. That makes the soul ache. In even darker origin stories, Pan actually kidnapped children from their mothers, desperate for connection and friendship. The confluence between Peter Pan and Gemini is no accident, and I firmly believe that the archetypal resonance between Gemini and Pan is cosmically fact-checked by the tale of Castor and Pollux, cemented centuries before. Both stories simply show the intense desire for relationship, to be seen and heard by the other, to be with the other. Devoid of connection, the Gemini is rendered an orphan child.
A person with strong Gemini in their chart can somehow feel they don’t fit in with their family of origin. This can be because of religious differences, ideological differences, and other jarring differences in worldview than can make the Gemini feel alone, like an orphan. Even the insidious ways parents invalidate the Gemini spark, like forcing a career, or belittling personal taste and style, or burdening the child with adult tasks, can leave a person feeling untethered. In popular orphan child stories like Harry Potter and The Wizard of Oz, the protagonist only comes into full understanding and appreciation of self through others, unconsciously creating familial bonds with people along the way. So too does the Gemini. They demonstrate a powerful drive to connect with others. It is fundamental to the Gemini that they be mirrored, that they be seen, that they be loved. While perhaps picking up many beliefs and ideas, friends and partners along the way, the Gemini’s primary motivation is reunion with their twin. Modern spiritual musings corroborate this further with the invention of phrases like “twin flame” and “mirror soul”. Half-baked romanticisms like “you complete me” further exemplify this search for wholeness by bringing together two separate parts. Even NASA’s Project Gemini was named after a spacecraft built for only two. These are all concepts that are rooted in the myth of Gemini and in the archetype of Gemini.
Gemini offers more than what pop astrology has turned it into. I hope that this reframing has helped you make like a Gemini and change your mind about the Gemini’s in your life, and helps you come into a fuller understanding of the impenetrable soul bond offered by this sign.
I Celebrate myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.
-Walt Whitman, Gemini Sun
The Astrology of Weight Loss ft. Adele
Some predispositions for indulgence/weight issues for Adele: Sun conj Jupiter in Taurus (Lizzo has this as well, and so does food-loving comedian Jim Gaffigan), and Moon in Sag. Much is said of the Taurus appetite, but Jupiter is the planet of true indulgence, going overboard, etc. Now put all that in Taurus... Her Moon in Sag (Jupiter again) is also in her 6th house of diet. Her 2nd house (which rules over material possession and sustenance i.e. food) is Leo, ruled over by this Sun. So there is a theme of using food to feel secure, deriving confidence from 2nd house themes. Jupiter/Sun also opposes Pluto, so eating for a sense of control.
This post has nothing to do with my opinions on her weight loss, or her weight at all. No value judgments. Just objective observations ft. astrology.

Adele started her weight loss journey during her Saturn Return, as all big changes tend to happen during this period! Her natal chart, rated B (so more than likely reliable), has her Saturn in Cap in the 7th sitting in a direct opposition to her ASC in Cancer. So anything that happens to Saturn invariably affects her appearance as well. Adele also celebrated a divorce during this period, freeing her up to work on herself. Saturn is the planet of restriction, and its transits have a lot to do with weight loss. Thin and grim planet.
Adele was in a 6th house profection year when she started her weight loss journey, finished a 7th and 8th house year, and is now in a 9th house year, having celebrated her 32nd bday a few days ago. The 6th house year is where we can establish new health routines. Her ruler of the 6th, Jupiter conj. her Sun, and her Moon, in Sag, were all planets at play. The Moon being comfort, Sun being identity, and Jupiter being excess--perhaps Adele had a realization about her health and weight and her relationship to food. The Sun in the mix, very visible in the 11th, means, of course, opinions from the public at large about her. Her weight loss is very much an identity overhaul, for better and worse.
Everyone undergoing their Saturn Return experiences a 6th house year. That is why Saturn Returns often become about getting better, healthier, and establishing productive habits. That is why Saturn Returns are also often about responsibility and duty--themes of the 6th. Planets and rulers of the 6th very by chart, as do the flavors of the SR.
3 cont'd) Adele's 7th house year was a compounding activation of Saturn. She was in her SR, in a Capricorn 7th year, with Saturn in Capricorn. With Mars in Aquarius, Mars was also activated because Saturn rules Aquarius. Mars adds in the willpower component,. It also trines her Venus, so the pursuits of Mars aid in feeling beautiful for her. And then when she entered her 8th house year, Mars was activated again, ruling over her 5th house Scorpio (remember her Pluto Jupe opposition above), and her 10th house Aries. Her 8th house year, 2019, is when she would show off her results, posting sporadically to Instagram. That's a 10th house activation. Maybe the 5th house activation is that she was always photographed at parties, at the beach, and just having hella fun.
4) Adele has Venus in Gemini opposite her Moon in Sag. That's kind of an obvious indicator that her relationship to food and her sense of beauty and esteem are always at odds. She's stated that she's felt very insecure about her weight. Venus in the 12th can also be why her love life is often very private, but also why she chose to undergo this transformation privately. Some celebrities opt for the all-in show n tell approach.
5) She lost weight with the Sirtfood Diet. This is just so hilarious to me. This diet allows red wine, dark chocolate, olive oil, and other very rich foods. DO NOT TAKE AWAY WINE AND CHOCOLATE FROM A TAURUS!!! These are all foods that contain the protein sirtuin. Sirtuins work on the body's inflammation response (Jupiter Venus tings). Its reportedly "inspired by nature" and also includes foods such as kale, walnuts, barely, coffee--aka things that grow from earth. Very Taurus.
6) The Nodes. The North Node in Cancer was transiting her 1st house, while the SN in Capricorn was transiting her 7th. The clear manifestation of this was her divorce. But NN playing in the 1st is a growing sense of confidence. The Cancer seeps in with care and nurturing of yourself, which can be done through food and activity and health, but also an intangible self-love. Cancer is also a vulnerable place, so her posting pictures of herself was an act of bravery, especially for a celebrity. Putting more emphasis on who you are as in individual versus who you are in a relationship. SN in Capricorn for her could also mean retreat from public life, as Capricorn can be where we accomplish and do business things.
All the best to her xx
Over The Top Virgo Rising? Out of Bounds Planets ft. DOLLY PARTON
I am going to just assume you know who Dolly Parton is. If not, just Google her. Spotify too, because she's a musical genius.
When you see her, what does it conjure for you astrologically? To be that overtly feminine and flashy? Bet Virgo Rising wouldn't ever come to mind.

When you see her, what does it conjure for you astrologically? To be that overtly feminine and flashy? Bet Virgo Rising wouldn't ever come to mind.
Virgo on the ASC renders one, archetypically at least, modest, shy, bookish. Regardless of beauty or fashion sense, Virgo Risings are not known to make their presence known. Shrinking violets, and certainly a demeanor that is not overt. Ruler Mercury renders these natives studious of human behavior, which places one in the background. Out from after Leo, Virgo cleans up the party versus making itself the center of one.
ENTER. DOLLY. PARTON. Her chart is rated AA--so there is little to no debate about her Virgo ASC. Charming, quirky, talkative, yes, all traits of Mercury. But the flashiness, the overt femininity--things that make you go "huh" when you see her chart. And with Virgo as the virgin, the maiden--Parton's enhancement of her breasts, make-up, tight clothing, short-shorts, and thigh-high boots--seems to subvert the idea of innocence. She has even stated that she modeled herself, her persona, after the town trollop.
Now you may look to Venus. She has hers in Capricorn in the 5th conjunct Sun. Clearly this has made her artistically talented, charming, and entrepreneurial. She rose from complete poverty to being worth many millions. That's Cap! But Capricorn with Virgo ASC isn't exactly a dead ringer for extreme costuming. I wrote about how Capricorn loves to have fun as much as the rest of them, maybe even moreso. But the overt expression of her femininity still isn't exactly Saturnian. And its worth noting that her Venus doesn't trine her ASC. Her Saturn is fallen in Cancer, conj. Mars. Mars will come up again.
Dolly has Jupiter in Libra in the 2nd, and Uranus conj her Gemini MC. Jupiter in Libra is expansion of femininity. But I opine that this placement has more to do with her obvious wealth, and her extending of a helping hand financially (Libra) when disaster strikes. Jupiter here is averse to her ASC in Virgo. In spirit, it expands on her feminine nature, but in physicality, it can't. Her Uranus conj. MC certainly makes her stance on the world stage electric and flashy! But that didn't satisfy me. Her Uranus in Gemini is more about the message she is sharing with others, and as far as sexuality and appearance, Uranus wouldn't exaggerate, it would subvert--androgyny, gender fluidity, etc.
(Runner up: she has Moon in Virgo in her 1st. It doesn't conj her ASC degree, but Moon in 1st house folks are good at projecting an image that others want/desire. For a woman, overt sexuality in the music industry can provoke this.)
That's why when I realized her Mercury and Mars were out-of-bounds, I was relieved. Her chart remained kind of enigmatic at first glance, with only the two dimensional picture of the sky taken into account. In brief, declinations are a sub-section of astrology that take into account the three dimensional picture of the sky at birth. It measures the distance of planets from the celestial equator, the ecliptic. Out of bounds planets are ones that fall above or below the limits of the Sun on this ecliptic, 23 degrees 27 minutes. Planets above or below this are outside the "control" of the Sun. They are planets with no babysitter, no one to answer to. As such, they manifest as individuals with profound derangement, or profound talents. They bend the laws of what is thought possible or permissible, for better or worse
(Adele has OOB Venus, for example. Her artistic prowess is a phenomenon. Einstein had OOB Moon in Sag, and literally expanded our concept of reality itself).
The inner planets go out of bounds more frequently than the outer ones. Asteroids do it too. Dolly's ASC ruler, Mercury, a very important planet in the chart, was OOB. Her Mars, conj. that Saturn in Cancer was also OOB.
"As you might guess, people with an out-of-bounds planet tend to know no boundaries and accept no limits. Often there’s no stopping them. This can result in boundless creativity and success, allowing the native to go way beyond the potential that one might normally expect."
And so is the case with Dolly. From a young age, she received hoards of media (Mercury) attention for her singing and more notably, her songwriting (she'd later pen I Will Always Love You, made infamous by Whitney Houston). She is a goddamn prolific songwriter, penning over 3000 in her lifetime. Her OOB Mercury also rules her Gemini MC with Uranus (country to pop to musicals to film--shift shaping career) there. She'll go down in history.
Her Mercury stands at an opposition with Mars, both looking at the other, trying to get what they want. In the 5th in Cap, Parton obviously wanted to be recognized for her writing skills and derives a tremendous amount of joy and catharsis from it. But Mars in Cancer in the 11th made aware to her that as a musician, she was a public (11th) commodity. So she modeled herself in this vain. She told Oprah Winfrey that she had undergone so many surgeries in order to maintain her famous image. Her Mercury ruling Virgo is doing the most. Scrapping together all the she could to methodically plan and conceive of an image that would boost her success.
"It takes a lot of money to look this cheap". Here we see the Saturn principle of restriction (the restriction of wealth is "cheap", the restriction of class and prestige is "cheap") leaking into her humor.
She went out of her way to construct an overtly sexual persona in order to transition from country singer to mainstream pop success. That is due to Mars, the principle of cutting and surgery. "If I see something sagging, bagging or dragging, I'll get it nipped, tucked or sucked." Cancer is a feminine sign, having to do with the Mother and nurturing. Mothers nurture through their breasts, and Cancer rules the mammary glands. Her breast enhancements are an obvious manifestation of this martial energy. Mars OOB in Cancer also has a inordinate amount of energy placed towards Cancer things--so this can be the ultimate culprit of her consciously sculpted feminine physique. Enhancing traditionally feminine features like the breasts and lips, whilst nipping and sucking at the waist to achieve a Cancerian hourglass shape. Conj. Saturn, it has aided in her monetary success. And square that Jupiter in glamorous Libra, Mars has provided fuel to this overtly feminine persona.
(Her OOB Mars in Cancer has also, again, made her a fierce helper and protector of her community. She even created her own literal community--Dollywood! Theme parks are a Mars-Jupiter arena! Thrill rides, amusement! And the play on Hollywood is apropos for Jupiter in Libra.)
While there are many things in her two dimensional chart that pinpoint Parton's specific brand of humanity, I hope this look into the three dimensional aspect of declinations can provide a more robust explanation. To note, Dolly has been in a 50 + year marriage, and refused to pose nude for Playboy. Clearly, the Virgo ASC and Capricorn sensibilities we all know are firmly in tact here.
Thanks for reading xx
