You covered all 9 planets in depth + what was so great about the reading is the way you stitched together a beautifully coherent, nuanced story about my life. It made SENSE. As a newbie astrology student, I felt like I got to see the possibilities inherent in a deep understanding of how planet, sign, house + aspects interrelate to create a complex picture that feels so TRUE. The aspects + planetary/house rulership added so much depth to the story you told. I understood that reading a birth chart is a creative act of interpretation + storytelling, and as such, it is a gift that you give to clients: a coherent narrative. The antidote to trauma + self-pathology. I heard things about my birth chart I'd never heard in previous readings. You're a close listener + picked up on things I said during the reading to highlight areas of my chart. I left the reading (+ a subsequent re-watching of it) feeling empowered + affirmed in who I actually am. Hearing you tell the story of my chart felt like a normalizing + affirming of things about me that I + others have pathologized + problematized. I've had the pleasure of receiving two readings from Camille. I first met with her for a natal chart reading, and was blown away by her approach. Because it was my first astrology reading, I wasn't sure what to expect and I was nervous. Although the reading was done over Zoom, it felt like sitting down with an old friend. Despite having studied my own chart for years, each time she described a planet or an aspect in my chart, I learned something new. Most importantly, I came to recognized things in myself that I hadn't realized before. I believe that is the gift of astrology, and Camille delivered that gift with her in depth knowledge and compassionate approach. It's so helpful to know what areas to focus your attention on from year to year, and I will continue to receive solar return readings in the future. One issue I had, which may just be me, lol ;) is that I was unsure about how to logistically buy a reading from your website, and it held me up from doing so for awhile. I expected to submit payment when I requested a reading, and I don't exactly remember what my problem was, but I wasn't sure how I should pay. Is it possible for clients to pay (or at least have the clear option to pay or at least know the payment options you accept) when they first contact you to request a reading? Maybe show it on the page with the pricing? I'm not strong in sales tactics (a gigantic understatement!!), but I think it's good to get clients to commit right away if possible. I did think your personal email response after I contacted you through your website was great, though, and once I knew what to do, it was all good. Your website is really esthetic and cool! I absolutely LOVE your collage by Empress Atlantis - so beautiful and strong! I love all the art and graphics, and I really enjoy reading your writings as well. Hope you're finding time to write!
